Webex will support up to 1,000 people on a call.
How do I share a link with students in Seesaw or Google Classroom?
For users with Seesaw or Google Classroom, the best way to invite students to a meeting is through posting a link. Once you have your meeting created (or if you're using your personal meeting room), you can copy the link and post it as an announcement.
What's the best practice for creating a Webex Meeting?
Cisco is constantly updating Webex to provide more options for teachers to better control their meetings. As a result, your toolkit and the ‘best practice’ recommendations are continually evolving! With the September 2020 release, staff now have the ability to block non-Westside users from joining their meetings as well as the ability to lock scheduled meetings and force all attendees to wait in the lobby before being admitted.
The directions below will walk you through configuring the security settings for STARTING meetings and controlling who joins. DURING meetings, be sure to check out this article for advices on configuring participant permissions during your meeting (i.e., who they can chat with, how to screen share, etc.).

The key to working through technical difficulties is to communicate the “disaster” recovery plan in advance. For example,
If the teacher lost audio, video, or both, yet has a network connection, the teacher could share a document with the predetermined “disaster” recovery plan.
The teacher could have the students take a short minute break and return after a predetermined amount of time to see if class has been fully restored.
If the teacher loses video and maintains audio, depending on the learning objectives, the teacher could convert the class into a teleconference.
If the teacher loses audio and maintains video, everyone could stay on the line because the students will see that they haven’t lost their teacher. In the meantime, the teacher could have the students complete an assignment while the teacher works to restore audio.
