2020 Graduate Specific Information

• The service learning requirement is waived for students graduating this school year, 2019-2020.
• We will continue to update you regarding graduation as this situation evolves. April 23rd is our next planned decision point regarding school in May and events including graduation.

Grading and Assessment Information

Information shared with both staff and students regarding semester two grading.

• All tasks/assignments have value in learning, including 4th quarter tasks.
• 3rd quarter will be weighted more heavily in the semester grade. It is our most accurate information with face to face learning.
• The exact weighting of 3rd and 4th quarter will be determined once we know how the semester will end. 4th quarter still has value.
• Teachers have been encouraged to find ways to help students complete any 3rd quarter summative tests, projects, papers, etc. that have not been completed yet.
• We have turned off semester grade view until we know how the semester grade will be determined. You will only see 3rd and 4th quarter in PowerSchool at this time. The ability to view the semester grade will return once we determine how it will be calculated.
