Summer School Information
Westside High School summer school will be offered in an online format this summer June 1 - June 24. The summer school catalog is now available on the WHS webpage at https://whs.westside66.org/news/whs-summer-school-2020-starts-june-1/
Sign ups will begin May 1st through My School Bucks. Sign up information is available through the link. Reminder you can access via the myschoolbucks.com website or you can access through your parent/student sign in to PowerSchool.
ACT Information
ACT Information
Westside High School was originally scheduled to host the June but not the July ACT national test date. We have altered our schedule to provide both the June and July ACT at Westside High School pending social distancing guidelines, etc. We will continue to keep you updated regarding the administration on these test dates. See the graphic below for registration deadlines for the next two national test dates. More information regarding the ACT can be found at www.act.org.
3 Moms and a Test ACT Preparation
3 Moms and a Test ACT Preparation
Our goal is to provide ACT test preparation one time to any student who desires to take the ACT test preparation course facilitated by 3 Moms and a Test. We intend to provide this opportunity to students between the end of the sophomore year and the end of a student's junior year. We will communicate with eligible students with recommendations and guidelines throughout the coming year on how to register and the dates, times, and locations of these opportunities.
Junior students who participated in the 3 Moms and a Test prep courses in February and March of 2020 prior to the scheduled ACT in March will have an opportunity to refresh prior to the next ACT test date.
- February participants will be able to register for bootcamp sessions. These are final review and practice the week prior to the test. Bootcamps will be at your expense ($35 per session).
- March participants will be able to register for the science and test anxiety session missed due to COVID 19 school closures at no cost. You will also have access to the bootcamps at cost ($35 per session).
- Emails with more details will be sent directly to these two groups of students with additional details.
