All 7th grade students in Michigan are required by law to be up-to-date on their vaccinations to attend school.  If you need vaccinations and cannot get to your pediatrician or family doctor before the start of school, many local pharmacies can administer the necessary vaccinations.  Here is information from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services on what vaccines are required. Families can also contact their local Health Department for information about waivers.
