About Us! ✨
Middle school counselors play a vital role in supporting students during one of the most important and challenging times in their development. We help students navigate academic, social, and emotional changes, offering support on everything from study skills and peer relationships to conflict resolution and goal setting.
Counselors work closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to create a safe and supportive school environment. Whether it’s helping a student deal with anxiety, plan for high school, or build healthy friendships, middle school counselors are dedicated to helping every student thrive.

Why are coping skills important?
Coping skills help people regulate their emotions. Our bodies can have physical and mental responses to emotions, which coping skills can help regulate. Emotions are normal, and it's okay to let your body experience them! Using coping skills help our bodies process big emotions.
How can parents help?
Talk to your kids about how to cope with their emotions. Model healthy coping skills for your kids and talk about the importance of using them! If your child is struggling to use healthy coping skills, consider connecting with their school counselor or a mental health therapist.
