What is an Ecological Footprint? An ecological footprint is the measurement of how sustainable an individual or group is, expressed by the amount of land and natural resources used.
My Results: I would rate myself 2 stars **.
My Ecological Footprint is 7.5 Global Hectares. My Carbon footprint is 12.1 tonnes per year. If everyone lived like me, there would need to be 4.6 Earths. My Ecological Footprint 4.4 times greater than a sustainable Ecological Footprint of 7.5 Global Hectares. Additionally, my carbon footprint is large, causing it to contribute to climate change and environmental degradation. Lastly, my lifestyle would need 4.6 Earths for everyone to live sustainably. To life a sustainable lifestyle, everyone who lived like me should only require one Earth or less.
