The Guru - Richard Allington is a premier researcher, writer, and teacher of teachers. He has spent the better part of two decades researching reading achievement and providing insight into putting research-based findings into practice. His work encompasses reading volume, the importance of strong instruction, and the critical role of choice, voice, and just-right books play in reading development.
