Articulation refers to the process of linking two or more educational systems. In this case, it provides for linking of WHS high school courses to Front Range Community College courses, allowing you to take articulated high school classes at your high school and earn college credit for those courses. And best of all, since these are high school courses that you are taking at no cost, you save money on tuition and books.
If you plan to complete a degree or certificate at Front Range Community College, earning this credit will save time and provide a jump start to the college experience.
It is important to know that this credit can ONLY be used at FRCC and can not be transferred to another college or university.
Front Range Community College will award credit based on what you have learned through your WHS classes but you must complete the following steps:
You must complete paperwork and meet deadlines while you are taking the class at WHS
You must attend Front Range Community College within three years of taking the WHS class
