Students will learn about the types of business ownership, the qualities of an entrepreneur, and the essentials of running a business through their hands-on training of running the school store.
This is a great class for anyone who thinks they might want to start their own business or work in the business field!
Students should be motivated and mature enough to work on their own. They should also be comfortable with re-doing projects (possibly MANY times!) based on teacher and classmate feedback. Students should be interested in pursuing their own personal growth and development!
Students run the school store and coffee cart!
This is a great class to combine with an interest in ANY other CTE program. For example, a student with an interest in construction could take this class to learn how to run their own construction company or to be a contractor.
