Students created quick sketches and then played a variety of art games. It was fun to switch it up a bit this week!

Origami Week!

Students created Spring themed origami projects.

Students spent the week creating feathers for an all school collaboration art project....stay tuned for the big reveal in a few weeks

Kehinde Wiley- Artist Study

Students learned about his contemporary portraits and photorealism. Next week we will be working on an all school collaboration project!

Cubes are complete!

Op Art

Students are creating optical illusions on a 3D cube. Next week students will finish up their illusions in sharpie then cut/glue to assemble the cube.

Each student is choosing a dessert or treat of their choice. Practice sketches will be created this week.

Students are learning about how to draw the house in a different perspective and add their own creativity/details to their work.

Color has been added to our projects. The students were excited to use oil pastels- it creates some beautiful blending!

Now that we have practiced drawing Everest, we are going to add a little twist to the project.....
