Meet the Teacher

Ms. Gustaveson has been teaching since 2020! She received her B.A. in English, T.E.S.O.L. certification, and teaching credential from Sacramento State. She is getting her Masters degree at Sacramento State THIS year! She had been living in Sacramento for over nine years. She anticipates growing along with her students as the classes achieve semester-long goals together! In her free time, she enjoys baking, reading, caring for her many house plants, and walking her dog, Rory.

Some fun facts about Ms. Gustaveson:

• Her favorite food is sushi. She loves iced coffee ☕️

• Her favorite books include The Great Gatsby (Fiction), Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers (Non-Fiction), and Great Expectations (Fiction).

• Throughout her life she played five instruments including clarinet, bass clarinet, piano, guitar, and cello. However, she has yet to "perfect" any instrument. Perhaps the bass guitar is next?

• She worked in a bakery throughout college 🧁
