This course offers a vast overview of the history and evolution of film - spanning from the 19th century moving pictures to animated fantasy to realism to modern-day blockbusters. You will analyze films as an art form, participate in class discussions, and write film reviews.

You will expand your knowledge of film by identifying, analyzing, and applying key concepts such as mise-en-scene, color, sound, editing, cinematic structure and so much more.
