Welcome! ELD Support is an elective course designed to grow your English skills, wherever you are in your language journey. We focus on four key areas - reading, writing, listening, and speaking - building step by step from words to phrases to sentences to full paragraphs as you move toward grade-level proficiency. Along the way, you'll explore academic texts from your other classes, learn reading strategies and new vocabulary, strengthen your grammar, and practice speaking and listening every day. Everything we do builds your confidence with academic English and prepares you for the Summative ELPAC exam each spring. I'm glad you're here!
