Drawing and Painting is a class that focuses on 2D processes and media. Students build skills in drawing and painting from observation, imagination, and memory while having opportunities to experiment and explore in order to develop a personal style. The Studio Habits of Mind are practiced daily. Students will be required to reflect on their work in written and oral formats. Every student will work in a sketchbook to practice skills, plan for projects, and do smaller assignments that will foster creativity.
