07/04/19: The colors look great!
08/18/19: Loop on left for odd rows
11/23/19: Brown border threads keep breaking because of twist build up. I can’t get the twist down to the swivels to untwist.
12/04/19: Transferred band to board loom because twist build up is too much for inkle loom. Used 2.5” kumihimo bobbins to wrap up individual card threads.
01/05/20: Border cards are still getting too tight before the rest of the band is ready to rotate down. Will need to figure out a way to have the border cards tensioned separately.
2020: Project boxed up since I needed the loom for another project. Pulled back out June 2023.
09/2023: Finished band for a different outfit than planned. Wound up being too short to trim the slavic caftan around the bottom and front, so I only have enough for the sleeves and a temple band.
