Rapier
There have been a number of changes to the Reduced Armor Experiment for Rapier Fighting. There is also a section for Cut & Thrust style fighting. You will need to sign up for whatever style you fight, whether or not you will be wearing reduced armor. All combatants, in reduced armor or not, must file a report at the end of each practice or event to comment on the experience. Our members enjoy Rapier, Cut & Thrust, and Spear fighting. Off hand weapons seen in the Shire include bucklers, daggers, small swords, batons, a non-metal weapon experiment axe, various cloaks, and a large spoon. The Rapier fighters of Wolfscairn vary greatly in age, physical ability, and experience. Everyone is welcome.
We have loaner equipment available if you are new and want to try it out. Please let us know you are coming to insure you have the necessary protection gear.

Reduced Armor Experiment Rules Change, Sign Ups, and Reporting Forms
The West Kingdom Unified Reduced Armor Experiment Rules. Updated as of January 2025, Effective February 1, 2025. These rules apply to both Rapier and Cut & Thrust. However there are two different Sign Ups and two different Reporting Forms. Links below.
Sign up for the new Reduced Armor Experiment for Rapier Fighting. Please re-sign up, as this is changed from the previous Reduced Armor Experiment.
Whether or not you are participating in the Rapier Reduced Armor Experiment, please report on your practice experience.
Sign up for the new West Kingdom C&T Reduced Armor Program.
This form must be completed by each participant every time the individual participates in a C&T activity while wearing reduced armor.
