We will have a total of 7 Unit tests
All work will be able to be revised (following a protocol) to show mastery of the skill being taught. Play to stay IA.

No. We will clean out our folders after every unit. I will be collecting most packets.

As a 6th grader, you have the responsibility to find out what you missed and are responsible for completing it. You can do this many ways:
Check Weekly Agenda on Google Classroom. This is posted by Monday of the current week and is updated daily after each class.
Check Google Classroom for any assignments.
Check the Absent Work form that will be in your Absent Work Mailbox.
Call a good academic buddy.
Stay IA
If you are absent from school, you will be allowed additional time for completing missed assignments and still receive full credit.

You need to see me PRIOR to your band lesson to let me know you have a band lesson.
You will need to hand in any work and get any work that you will be missing.

Math:
Quizzes: You will be able to correct math quizzes and receive 1/2 credit back for each problem you get right. You will need to stay IA to get the extra help.
Tests: There will be no test retakes. However, test corrections will be allowed.
Revisions of Work: You will be able to revise your work to show mastery of the skill being assessed. Plan to stay IA to review material.

The best time to go is before or after class (You have 3-4 minutes between each class).
If it is an emergency, you may go during class. The best time to go is during independent work time. Avoid going during instruction.
