The grade-level literacy workshops will be an opportunity for teachers to work together with their grade-level colleagues, across the district, on literacy instruction, assessment, and intervention to meet the needs of all students.

Who Should Attend?

All PK-6 teachers including new to WG or new to a particular grade level.

Math

• 08/14/23, 9:00 - 3:30 PM: Grades 5 & 6, WGIS, room TBD (NOTE: Grades 5 & 6 will collaborate from 9:00 - 12:00; Grade 5 only will continue to work from 12:30 - 3:30)

The grade-level math workshops for K-4 will be organized around the upcoming math pilot and provide an opportunity for teachers to work together with their grade-level colleagues, across the district, with curriculum specialists from each program to be piloted on the specific units to be taught in the fall.

The grade-level math workshops for PK & Grades 5 & 6 will be an opportunity for teachers to work together with their grade-level colleagues on math instruction, assessment, and intervention to meet the needs of all students.

Who Should Attend?

All K-4 teachers who will be participating in the pilot of Into Math or i-Ready Classroom must attend. All other K-4 teachers are encouraged to attend for a reset of our understanding of Investigations.

Note: Coaching for new 7th & 8th grade teachers will begin in September
