West Genesee Career/Technical Education (CTE) Program
West Genesee Career/Technical Education (CTE) Program
West Genesee High School offers the students the opportunity to earn a Career and Technical Education (CTE) endorsement in three different career areas. They include Business Administration, Computer Technology, or Engineering Technology.
The students must do the following to receive their CTE endorsement:
- successfully complete the five units of instruction in the chosen program,
- prepare a portfolio of student work,
- complete a 15-hour job shadow, and
- pass a nationally recognized certification exam.
This program allows the students the opportunity to investigate a particular career field prior to attending college and looks great on college applications.
