Camp Invention -grades k-6
Camp Invention is one week in the summer where your child’s creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills are challenged and developed in fun and exciting ways through STEM. The top priority is to inspire future innovators and build their confidence in the natural ability to dream and create. Volunteer opportunities for leaders in training (grades 7-9).

Classroom Antics offers unique in-person enrichment programs for each summer camp season. Each STEAM program is specifically tailored to kids in varying age groups, at different times during the day. Enrichment program titles include Morning STEAMers, STEAM Makers, LEGO Bots, Game Builders, Game Design, VEX IQ Robotics, Minecraft Animation, & Minecraft Coding.
Forge the Future Summer Camp -ages 11-15
Explore the world of forging through the Forging Foundation’s two-day Forge the Future Summer Camp. Students 11-15 years old will have the opportunity to tour a forging facility, participate in STEAM and team-building activities, and learn how to forge. Plus, campers will get to take home their own forging!
John Carroll’s Young Writers Workshop -grades 9-12
Students participate in a rigorous and inspiring program that provides an introduction to the art and craft of poetry, short fiction, and creative nonfiction. In morning and afternoon sessions, students study with acclaimed writers, engaging in writing-intensive exercises designed to address the elements of craft: form, voice, character, image, scene, and setting.
University Hospitals: Summer Youth Volunteer Program -age 15 through high school graduation
This program is a 10- week program for students age 15 through high school graduation. Participants volunteer 4 hours per week. Students may miss only one week/ session. Students interested in a career in the medical field would benefit from this type of service. At the conclusion of the program, participants receive a certificate documenting volunteer service.
Summer Experience in Engineering Camp has just about everything for high school students interested in learning more about aerospace systems, biomedical, chemical, civil, computer, corrosion, electrical and mechanical engineering. This week-long summer camp, hosted by the Women in Engineering (WIE) Program, is for students entering grades 9-12. From tours to local engineering firms to hands-on projects, along with social activities, WIE provides the ideal environment for campers to embark on engineering studies and make new friends.
