The Lincoln Early Childhood Center is fortunate to supplement the Kindergarten half-day program with the Wrap Program at a fee of $400 per month ($4,000 per year). The Wrap Program is designed to extend the school day with enrichment activities including science experiments, math games, reading and writing centers, outdoor play, and free choice time. Wrap students remain at Lincoln School for lunch, which is provided from home. Students are frequently brought outdoors for play and exploration, so it is important they are appropriately dressed for the weather. Lincoln School’s Wrap Coordinators send home monthly newsletters recapping fun learning activities as well as providing notice of upcoming events.
Families will have the opportunity to request a spot in the tuition-based Lincoln School Wrap Program upon successful completion of the Kindergarten registration process for the 2027-2028 school year, including the submission of all required medical forms, no later than Thursday, February 18, 2027 prior to 12:00 p.m. Please take note of the following important dates:

All Kindergarten registration paperwork is due no later than 12:00 p.m. All forms, including the Immunization Record, Physical Examination, Health History Form, and Health Department Consent, must be uploaded to the Open Registration portal by that time in order to receive a Wrap application.

A $400 nonrefundable deposit is due to the Business Office at the Westfield Board of Education prior to 4 p.m. on Friday March 5, 2027. This non-refundable deposit will be used as the June 2027 tuition payment. Payment may be made by personal check payable to the Westfield Board of Education (write your child’s name and “Wrap Deposit 2027-2028” in the memo) or through the MySchoolBucks payment portal. *Note for MySchoolBucks users: Please do not click “add a student”; add your child’s name next to “student name”.
Families who do not pay the deposit prior to 4 p.m. on Friday, March 5, 2027 will forfeit their spot in the Wrap Program. Forfeited spots will be offered to families on the waitlist in accordance with the process outlined below.
Families who do not initially secure a spot in the Wrap Program through the lottery system will be notified to complete a waitlist form. To maintain the integrity and fairness of the original random lottery process, the district will establish two waitlist pools.
Pool A will consist of families who met the original lottery application deadline but were not selected during the initial lottery drawing. Any openings that occur after the initial lottery will continue to be filled through random drawings from Pool A until all families in that pool have either been offered placement or declined participation.
Pool B will consist of families who request to join the waitlist after the original lottery deadline. Once Pool A has been exhausted, openings will be offered to families in Pool B in the order requests were received, based on a time-stamped waitlist process.
Families will be contacted if their child is selected for enrollment as openings become available throughout the spring and summer.
