K-12 Science and Technology Education Program

The goal of the Westfield Science and Technology Education Program is to ignite students’ curiosity about the natural world and the technological landscape, providing them with the skills to explore and understand both. 

This goal encompasses foundational knowledge in Physical Science, Earth & Space Science, Life Science, and Engineering Practice, alongside an emphasis on technology education that fosters students' abilities in identifying problems, designing innovative solutions, and refining these solutions through the engineering design process. 

Our program is dedicated to offering authentic hands-on learning experiences, enabling students to develop their skills in inquiry, reasoning, problem-solving, and communication. As they progress, students will build a comprehensive understanding of how scientific concepts and technological advancements intersect and influence the world around them.
