Course Description:
Algebra I is the foundational course upon which all future mathematical studies are built. Topics explored this year include operations with real numbers, linear and quadratic equations, functions, polynomials, radicals, and rational expressions. The real-life value of algebra as a problem-solving tool is a major theme stressed in this course.
