A Note From Dr. P

Forensic science is the study and application of science to matters of law. This introductory course will present forensic techniques used to collect and analyze physical evidence in criminal investigations. While the content of the course is designed to teach you how to appreciate the application of science in order to solve crimes, my primary goal is to help you become well rounded, critical thinkers who can help solve society’s challenges. I will do my best to uphold a respectful, productive and supportive classroom atmosphere. I will clearly explain requirements and due dates for all assignments and tests. I am always more than willing to meet with students individually. My schedule is posted online and outside my classroom. Do not be afraid to ask me questions no matter how large or small they may seem.
