The 8th grade elective component of the curriculum for Technology Literacy provides students with an opportunity to learn about and explore varying technologies that immerse the student in meaningful artistic, academic, and challenging work to enhance their individual interests and talents. The projects included in this course may change as new technologies and software programs appear on our technology landscape. The intent is for this course to be current and cutting-edge in the project options. Depending on the project, students may choose to work collaboratively or individually and students will work closely with the teacher as the facilitator. This course is focused on project based learning and product outcome.
