The 7th grade component of the curriculum for Intro to CS, Data & App Development provides students the opportunity to build upon skills and concepts learned in Grade 6 Intro to CS. In this course each student will assume the role of a computer application developer, and as such, will create a business app to investigate and design. Students continue to focus on several aspects of computer science, data management, systems and more! Through project based learning experiences, students develop various technology skills and functions as they interact with a variety of software programs as they plan and design their app. Skills in programming, graphic design, electronic workbooks, databases, advertising, and research will be acquired and employed through activities and projects that focus on creating real-world deliverables.
