PSHE Subject Intent Statement:

To enable all children to embrace their individual ambitions, knowledge and skills by teaching them to be healthy, safe, determined, and resilient members of the community.

"In creating the PSHE intent statement, it was important to make a specific link with the whole school intent statement. Determination and resilience are two key skills that are developed and encouraged through the PSHE curriculum at Westerings. PSHE also allows the freedom for the children to be creative and teaches them skills to support them in achieving their individual ambitions."
