Extensive research has gone into the introduction of BYOD at Westburn School. Many sources have been used in the planning of our technological initiatives including; visits to schools running successful BYOD programmes, case studies of other successful schools around the country, and cutting edge international research. Information is provided about the policy expectations, program designs, and challenges for an effective implementation of 1:1 initiatives in education.
