Here you will find a bunch of activities and games that you can do at home as well as links to many of our favorite videos and websites that you may find useful. Please feel free to use them as you feel fit! They are here as resources to help guide you if you are looking for more things to do at home, not to overwhelm! Fun is the goal!

Bilateral Coordination Activities:

Bear Walks - Try to go slow and not fall down!

Wheelbarrow walks - See how many "steps" you can take!

Cross Crawls - Do 20 repetitions

Crab walks - How far can you go?

Jumping Jacks - Do 20 repetitions

Fine Motor Activities:

Ripped paper projects

Here are some finger exercises to try at home

Help out in the kitchen! Stir, measure, spread the peanut butter, cut sandwiches, etc.

Play LEGOS or another building toy on your belly

Try to make your abc's out of playdoh

Visual Motor Activities:

Copy these shapes and try to make them look just like these above!

Try a letter app, Letter School is a great option!

Try to follow the steps to create the picture

Try a puzzle

Try a hidden picture. Highlights has many available online or try a Where's Waldo book!

Sort and match socks

Functional Skill Practice

Shoe tying videos for multiple different ways of tying! Here are some other tricks and tips!

  • Pick one method and stick with it

  • Try different color laces when learning

  • Practice everyday, mutliple times a day until you get it
