About Us

The Westbrook Music Boosters are a group of parent volunteers whose primary goal is to support and enhance the musical education of students in the Westbrook School District. With the dedicated efforts of our parent volunteers, music staff, and supporters, we:

• Provide hospitality at all concerts
• Coordinate fundraising and maintain student accounts for music trips
• Grant scholarships and spirit awards to 12th, 8th and 4th grade students
• Support the Music Department through donations of instruments, uniforms and money

Fundraising

Many of our Music Booster fundraisers benefit students directly. A portion of fundraising profits earned by each student are deposited directly into their music student account which they can use to help offset the cost of Music Department trips.

Music Booster general account funds go directly to booster-sponsored program. If a large enough balance accumulates over time, funds are used to help purchase equipment and supplies on the Music Directors’ “wish list” not accounted for in the regular school budget.
