Open the Google Slide located to the right and read through the different reading strategies.
Pick a few of the reading strategies and utilize them as you read "The Seventh Man" by Haruki Murakami located below the Google slides.
After you have read the story, complete the worksheet explaining what strategies you used and where specifically in the story you used them.

Step 2: Read the excerpt from The Life of Pi
Step 3: Open and make a copy of the worksheet below.
Step 3: Complete the worksheet and turn into Slate.

Before moving to the next milestone complete the following steps.
Step 1: Get out your credit slip.
Step 2: Open your competency dashboard.
Step 3: Write your performance task scores from the competency dashboard onto your credit slip.
Step 4: Conference with your teacher about your scores and what they mean as far as your grade is concerned.
Step 5: If you are happy with the scores, move onto the next Milestone. If you would like a better score, talk with your teacher about redoing a performance task. Once you are happy with your grade, move on to the next Milestone.
