Now that you have chosen a career, you need a plan. On a Google Doc, describe your plan of action for entering your career. Career plan should consist of at least four (4) sections/paragraphs.
Section I: Along with your current coursework, what else are you doing right now to make your future career a reality? Here are some options:
College campus visits
program orientations,
job shadowing
college/tech program applications
FAFSA
resume creation
obtaining letters of recommendation
current jobs
other trainings/exposure, etc.)
Section II: What education/training do you need for this career? Where are you going to get it? BE SPECIFIC!
Type/length of degree
name/location of program
classes
residency requirements
on-the-job training
boot camp requirements
Section III: Cost: How much does the program/training cost? How will you pay for life? Consider the following:
tuition
food
housing
hygiene and cleaning supplies
medical expenses like insurance, doctor's visits
Are there any opportunities for scholarships, grants, financial aid, work study, or study abroad? [+citations]

Section IV: After you enter this career, how will you continue to improve? Consider the following:
state licensure
organizations/unions
additional trainings
professional development courses and materials
renewed licenses
