Between the years of 2008-2018, 239,000 job vacancies will have been created in Idaho due to new job creation and retirement. Of these 239,000, 146,000 will require post-secondary credentials, 68.000 will require a high school diploma, while only 24,000 job vacancies will be available to high school dropouts. By 2018, 61% of all jobs in Idaho will require some type of post-secondary training, just slightly below the national average of 63%. Clearly, if you want to get ahead, you have to look at some type of post-secondary education, but finding the right fit for you will take some research.
Please create a Google Document to record your responses to the following writing prompts. Submit your answers to your Slate classroom.
