This milestone focuses on competency ELA 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 and 1.4 by reading two short stories and watching a Disney short. Through the stories will help us develop our understanding of reading strategies, evaluating main ideas and creating summaries, identifying author's purpose, and analyzing craft. By practicing these skills through reading we will be able to become better at understanding the stories we hear as we communicate with others. Learning to analyzes enables us to "hear" people better.
