At Mission View Elementary, the school counselor teaches classroom guidance lessons. Here are the topics covered by grade.

Teachers also teach social emotional lessons. They either teach Sanford Harmony or Second Step. Students learn skills to recognize feelings, manage emotions, get along with others and solve problems.
Sanford Harmony has a Sanford Harmony Game Room app you can download onto a phone or tablet. The app has entertaining games that reinforce the lessons in you child's classroom. The app also has games that help your child either calm down or focus.
