Gateway to Technology consists of a 1 quarter (9 week) class in Robotics. Students will use VEX robotics to learn how robotics work. Project Lead the Way is the curriculum that is a cutting edge way to immerse and have students design and explore robotic concepts and their scientific principles.
Students will:
- Examine current uses for robotics
- Explore how and why gears work
- Learn how to connect and program a robot
- Explore how to troubleshoot issues with coding and connectivity issues
- Examine different ways to engineer robotic designs
- Create unique designs to solve real life problems
