Daily Routines

The School Day

School starts at 8.45 am and finishes at 3.15 pm. Registers close at 8.55am. It is really important that children arrive on time to make the most of the school day and maximise their learning time. There will be an activity for children to be doing when they arrive first thing.

Arriving at school

Children enter the school via the KS2 side door where they will find their pegs.This is the opposite side of the school to where children will have entered last year.

Daily Snack

Children are welcome to bring a healthy snack for break time. These include fruit, vegetables, hard cheese, yoghurt.  As we are a nut free school please do not send in snacks with nuts. 

Lunchtime 12- 1

Children have an hour for lunch, during which time they have opportunity for a play and will be called up to the dinner hall a class at a time.

Home time - 3.15

Children can be collected by the KS2 side gate or bottom playground. If you would like your child to come to KS1 side gate, if they have siblings, or have other pick up arrangements, please let a member of staff know. Messages regarding pick up at the end of the day are best coming through the office and office staff will let teaching staff know.
