The day we went to Kokkoya Farm with the school was the most memorable day as I participated in many creative crafts. As I am a person who enjoys crafting things with my hand, I focused all of my attention on the lecture on how to create. I learned how to do a crown with the leaves and the flowers. I successfully created the leaf painting which was done with the natural process. From this CAS, I learned that making these adorable things takes patience and a curious mindset to complete creating things. I don't hesitate to ask questions and ask for help when I am stuck with something.

For my CAS, I participated in a Diwali celebration by creating Rangoli, a traditional Indian art form made with colored powders. At first, I thought it would be simple, but I quickly realized that drawing Rangoli required patience, precision, and teamwork. Since I had never done it before, I struggled with making symmetrical patterns and ensuring the colors didn’t blend together. However, instead of giving up, I practiced different techniques and watched tutorials to improve my skills.
One of the biggest challenges was working under time constraints. We had a limited amount of time to complete the Rangoli before the event, so my team and I had to stay focused and work efficiently. Weather conditions also posed a challenge, as a sudden breeze could easily ruin our design. Despite these obstacles, we remained patient and determined, fixing mistakes along the way.
Through this project, I developed creativity, attention to detail, and teamwork. I also learned the cultural significance behind Rangoli, making the experience even more meaningful. Seeing the final design come together was incredibly rewarding, and it reminded me of the importance of perseverance. This CAS experience not only helped me gain new skills but also allowed me to celebrate diversity in a creative way.

For my CAS project, I started a Positivity Venture by folding small notes and writing uplifting messages inside them to spread positivity around the school. At first, I thought it would be a simple task, but I faced challenges in making each note unique and meaningful. Finding the right words to inspire people while keeping the messages short took more time than expected. I also had to manage my schedule to write, fold, and distribute the notes consistently.
One of the biggest challenges was ensuring the notes reached as many people as possible. I had to be strategic about where and when to place them while keeping the project anonymous. Despite these obstacles, I stayed committed, knowing that even a small message could brighten someone’s day. Through this experience, I developed creativity, time management, and problem-solving skills. Seeing people smile because of my notes made all the effort truly worth it.
