Kara Miles Sullivan (She, Her, Hers) is in her sixth year of teaching and directing for Wellesley High School. Prior, she had an 18-year career as a Middle School Drama Teacher/ Director, 15 of those were with Wellesley Middle School. Kara received a B.F. A. in Acting, with a Dance Concentration, from the State University of New York College at Fredonia and a Masters in Theatre Education from Emerson College in Boston. Mrs. Miles-Sullivan was one of the early presidents of the METG Middle School Council and aims to become more actively involved in the High School component of METG and other groups that support Theatre in our schools. In addition, she has directed for several years with the Performing Arts Company in Framingham and taught classes at Wellesley Theatre Project and Tenacre Camp. As an avid believer in Theatre for Self Confidence and Growth, Mrs. Miles-Sullivan works consistently towards staying current and active with curriculum and techniques. She is a proud mother of two beautiful children, aged 14 and 16.
