line. Renders figurative subjects with line. Learns simple cartooning techniques.

• Creates a representation of a Social Studies culture using geometric shapes. Explores the

relationship of art and math using shape to create pattern.

• Continues to broaden mixing skills to enhance more complex visual expressions.

• Continues exploration of form with paper mache, paris craft, and clay using advanced

techniques.

• Learns and applies the concepts of foreground, middle ground, background and radial

symmetry.

• Approaches assignments with enthusiasm; uses art to express moods, emotions and ideas.
