We welcome questions about the program at any time.
Applications for the 2026-27 cycle will be available in January and are due March 15.
The 2026-27 cycle will be the last year of the teacher licensure program. Given the continued interest among our students to enter the teaching profession, we remain committed to providing enhanced opportunities for students to explore this commitment to teaching, outside of a professional licensure program for undergraduate students.
We are a cohort-based secondary teacher licensure program within a small liberal arts college devoted to cultivating thoughtful, compassionate, and equity-driven teachers. Our program is shaped by the following guiding values.
We are community-minded - building intentional relationships within the cohort, the classroom, as well as the families and communities they serve.
We are inquiry-based - fostering the development of teachers who are curious about their craft and understand the art of reflective practice.
We are equity-driven - believing that all children and youth should experience joy as learners and that educators must confront systems of oppression to enact a commitment to culturally responsive-sustaining teaching.
We have unique positionality - shaped by the liberal arts environment and accessible to a diverse array of urban and suburban school partners in the Greater Boston area.
