Open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors with post-intermediate French language skills (5-6 semesters of college-level French)

PROGRAM STRUCTURE
Students generally select 2-3 courses from among the program courses offered at the Wellesley-in-Aix headquarters, the "Centre Tavan," and 1-3 courses from the offerings at our partner institutions. The program courses are small seminar-style classes taught by faculty from Aix Marseille University designed for study abroad students from selective US liberal arts colleges, while the courses at the university may be larger, lecture-based classes where classmates will be primarily local degree-seeking students or international exchange students primarily from Europe.

FULL COURSE LOAD
4 credits per semester (16 US credit hours)
HOUSING
Homestays, or studio apartments in a student residence hall (subject to availability)
COST
Inclusions: orientation, all tuition & academic fees, full room & board, travel stipend, local transportation, visa expenses, program activities and trips, individual cultural allowance, rail pass for discounted train travel in France, and access to well-equipped program center.
Financial aid for Wellesley students is fully transferable. The Estimated Family Contribution will remain the same as for an on-campus semester. Non-Wellesley students should refer to their home school policies for billing and financial aid.
