April 2021: Collaboration between Wellesley College Biological Sciences faculty Dr. Julie Roden, Dr. Louise Darling, and John to publish this active learning module on enzyme kinetics used in our BISC/BIOC220 Cell Biology course.

January 2020: The Goss lab and Volle lab collaborated to publish a review on the use of Atomic Force Microscopy in studying the biophysical properties of microbes in ACS Applied Bio Materials. We are looking forward to moving this work forward in the coming years to study fission yeast!

September 2019: WE'RE BACK!!! After over a year in a temporary swing space, the Goss lab moved back into its newly renovated space in the Wellesley College Science Center!

Spring 2018: The Goss lab (and the Wellesley College Science Center) are undergoing major renovations over the next 4 years - we look forward to reopening our research space in the Spring 2019 semester!
April 2018: Maahum Mehdi (BIOC '18) presented her research into developing an optogenetic system for manipulating protein localization in fission yeast at the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology annual meeting in San Diego, CA.

May 2017: Celebrating the Goss lab graduating seniors: Ruby Ye (BIOC '17), Hannah Bledsoe (WGS '17), Kathryn Barth (BIOC '17), and Alexis Crayton (BISC '17) - each representing where they are heading next year for graduate studies or work. We're very proud and with them the best!
