Convert Existing High School to a Middle School

Originally built in 1967 with additions in 1996, 2004, and 2007, the existing RHS building sits on 25 acres, while typical high schools in Colorado need at least 80 acres. The facility has a capacity of 1118, and as of 2019 the enrollment was 989 with significant growth forecast for the area. Repairs and updates were needed totaling more than $40 million.
