After you have been board approved, please complete the following to complete your hire. 

• • W4 

  • Direct Deposit

  • Non-resident Parking Permit 

  • Health Benefits

  • Health Benefits Waiver (optional form)

  • Health Benefits Enrollment Guide

  • Dental Form

  • NJ Form

  • Criminal Background Check - see directions below. 

  • Any employer you have worked with in the last twenty (20) years must complete this form. 

  • Send HR@weehawken.k12.nj.us the following important scans:

    • Copy of Driver's License

    • Copy of Social Security Card

    • Copy of your Passport, if you have one. 

    • Copy of a voided check that will complete your direct deposit application. 

  • Please send HR a copy of your Mantoux Test and a note from your doctor clearing you to work.

On or before your first day, be sure to get the following items/access:

• ScholarChip ID

• Email account 

• Share911 email

Each morning, please sign into ScholarChip with your ID card. Sign in and out when you enter and leave the building for security reasons.

In the event, you ever need to call out sick, here is some information: please call the absence hotline by 6:30 am on the morning of your absence (201) 422-6129. You may call the evening before as long as it is after 4pm. Please slowly spell your name so the person listening can understand.

Before you start your first day with us, please again reexamine your social media and internet footprint to make sure everything is acceptable. Reminder: school employees are held to a higher ethical standard than general citizens.
