Fishing Club

The Fishing Club is a new one at Weehawken High School. The main goal was to provide students with a way to get out of the classroom and experience some of the challenges and rewards associated with the world of Sportfishing. Living in Weehawken students are just about an hour from some of the best fishing on the east coast. Why wouldn’t we have a club? We launched the club last year with one trip to Belmar, New Jersey aboard the Royal Miss Belmar, a charter fishing vessel but hope to have multiple trips planned for this year. The students loved their adventure on the high seas and even caught fish! Interest emails will be sent out just after the beginning of the school year but should your student be interested in joining just have them reach out to me. All are welcome aboard.
