Assignments and Grading Policy

All assignments are graded on a points-based system. 

• All major assessments are worth 20 points. This includes Prose Constructed Responses, Research Based Essays, Oral Presentations, and Projects. 

• Multiple choice assignments, including tests are worth 1 point per question. 

• An assignment with the designation “classwork” is worth 5 points. 

Final grades per marking period are calculated as follows: 

Total Points Earned / Total Points Possible = Final Score
