In AP World History, students will go beyond a general understanding of world history. Students will use analytic skills and write extensively on the major themes of history from the the rise of the world's civilizations to the present day in this intensive, fast-paced course. AP World History goes beyond that of an honors course, and has extensive reading and writing components.
In order to adequately prepare for the AP Exam, students must practice in a timed environment. Unit tests are designed to reflect the timing of a real AP Exam, therefore no additional time beyond the class period will be given to complete the test.
