Why should you get involved with The Arts in High School?
Dance, Drama, Music, and Visual Art classes enhance teamwork and discipline skills as well as provide
students with a means of self-expression. Increased self-esteem is a byproduct of this self-expression.
Artistic performance teaches young people to conquer fear and take risks.
Involvement in The Arts contributes to stronger mental health and reduces anxiety among teens.
Our Mission Statement
The St. Anne High School Arts Department strives to present an environment that promotes authentic exploring, refining, presenting, and reflecting in a wide variety of artistic outlets. Through the experience of Dance, Drama, Music, and Visual Arts students will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to confidently express themselves in creative and effective ways.
We believe that The Arts is one of the best ways for our students to flourish and successfully achieve the
Ontario Catholic Graduate Expectations.
