STEM

Students who are interested in the STEM academy must register for STEM courses on their Grade 9 option sheet.  

Students must earn 12 credits to earn a STEM certificate and purple cord at graduation.

Grade 9 STEM courses:  Math (MTH1WZ), Science (SNC1DZ), Geography (CGC1DZ), Integrated tech (TIJ1OZ)

Grade 10 STEM courses:  Math (MPM2DZ), Science (SNC2DZ), and ANY grade 10 Technology course

Plus 5 of the following grade 11 and 12 courses:

Grade 11: MBF3C, MCF3M, MCR3U (Math)

SBI3C, SBI3U (Biology), SCH3U (Chemistry), SPH3U (Physics), SVN3M (Environmental Science)

ICS3C, ICS3U (Computer Science), TCJ3C (Construction), TDJ3M (Technological Design), TDR3M (Robotics), TMJ3M (Manufacturing), TEJ3M (Computer Engineering), TTA3C (transportation)

Grade 12: 

MAP4C, MHF4U, MCV4U, MDM4U (Math)

SCH4C, SCH4U (Chemistry), SPH4C , SPH4U(Physics), SBI4U (Biology), and SVN4M (Science)

ICS4C, ICS4U (Computer Programming), TCJ4C (Construction), TDJ4M (Technological Design) TDR4M (Robotics), TMJ4M (Manufacturing), TEJ4M (Computer Engineering), TTA4C (Transportation)
